Sensory bins with rice can be used by children of varying ages at the same time. Sensory bins tend to hold a child's attention longer than other objects. And, when a child uses a sensory item, they are using or working with spatial awareness, problem solving, experimenting skills, imaginary play, and impulse control.
Simply pour the bag into a mixing bowl or pan, let your little one play, and pour the contents back into the bag when you're finished. (You can add scoops, funnels, measuring cups, ice cube trays, figurines, etc. to change it up each time!)
